The rest of our trip still needs to be written up and the pictures organized. Until then, here are the pictures with brief comments.

We bought this carved trunk at the White Swan in Guangzhou. There are two others inside. Total cost to buy this beautiful artwork was about $220. Dirt cheap! But wait...shiping and insurance paid in China was another $200. But that's not all, receiving in Los Angeles wanted $170 to release it, receiving in Seattle wanted $40 for their cut, and US Customs had to get in the act too for a big $9. So, our $220 chests were really more like $670. Still worth it to us, but be warned it will cost more than you might think!

A happy Melissa makes for a happy daddy.

A couple of beautiful women!

Melissa REALLY did not like the mandatory doctor exam. I think it was the first time we heard her really scream.

Melissa and Hanna Peterson getting to know each other at dinner.

One couple in our group adopted identical twins.

This is inside the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou.
